General Purpose of the Position:
80 Responsible for product design and insuring designs meet customer requirements. Serve as a team member on multi-discipline Project Development Teams. Work is of a technical nature where decisions are made within the limits of general practices and procedures. Creativity and initiative is expected to make engineering decisions. Supervision is available to handle unusual situations.
Major Responsibilities:
80 1. Response customer complaints timely and set up containment as needed
80 2. Keep responsible people informed about customer’s requirements;
80 3. Conduct preliminary analysis at customer plant
80 4. Coordinate with plant functions for problem solving
80 5. Set up database for customer issue tracking.
80 6. Collects quality and service information of competitors;
80 7. Warranty disposition with customer
Skills and Abilities/Qualification:
80 Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
80 Knowledge of total quality tools (5 tools(FMEA;SPC;PPAP;APQP;MSA);6 Sigma.)
80 Good communication skills both in Chinese and English
80 Good sense of root cause analysis
80 Team work oriented
80 Good negotiation skills
80 Be proactive
80 Good at problem solving methods
Experience:
80 Work experience at least 5 years, ideally in automotive industry or Manufacturing industry
80 At least 3 years of experience in customer service area
